Katie Lakkides
Katie graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Art in Chemistry in 2022. Upon graduating, Katie has been a dental assistant for the past year. Katie has also been shadowing Dr. Katynski since 2020 as she is applying to dental school to hopefully become a dentist herself. Katie is passionate about immersing herself in all aspects of dentistry and insists on taking advantage of every learning opportunity presented to her. Growing up as a dancer, Katie is drawn to the field of dentistry because of technique, artistry, and creativity required to be a successful dentist. Katie loves being a member of the team at Michigan Family and Cosmetic Dentistry.
Outside of Work...
In her free time, Katie loves spending time with her families two yellow lab puppies, Jesse and Vinny. Katie is a proud MSU Spartan and enjoys cheering on MSU athletics, especially during football and basketball season. Since her final year of dancing at MSU came to an end, Katie loves meeting up with former dance teammates and taking workout classes together. In the summer, Katie loves traveling to Lake Michigan and spending time at her grandparent’s lake with friends and family.
